2018 iPhones to have faster Wireless Charging
This year the tech giant Apple is rumoured to launch three iPhones and one of them will have support for the Dual Sim. Now as per a fresh report at least one of the iPhone models launching in September this year will have a faster wireless charging speed than the speed currently present in last year’s iPhones. The information is from the China Times website, which believes that at least the most powerful model of the new smartphones of Apple will support faster wireless charging speeds.
According to the publication, Apple is considering making very straightforward technical changes: using copper instead of the polymer ferrite composite (FPC), a flexible circuit that has the advantages of being smaller and lighter, sacrificing greater speed in recharging the process. Still, they should not interfere with the thickness of the appliance.
The iPhone 8 , iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X models have a maximum wireless load of 5W (Watts). Power was increased to 7.5 W with the launch of iOS 11.2, but the company does not consider that to be the desired value. The goal is for the new process to reach the 15 W – the same as the Galaxy S9, for comparison purposes.
