Amazon Prime Video has finally unveiled the trailer of their most anticipated original series Mirzapur. Produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertaiment and Ritesh Sidhwani, Mirzapur is set to be the next big series after Netflix’s Sacred Games. It is helmed by Gurmeet Singh and it seems that he has left no stone unturned to make this one a dark and gritty show. In earlier released teasers we were introduced to leading characters Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit who will be portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal respectively.

The story of the series is set in the Badlands of India where every character is ready to break the bones and shed blood. For the first time we will be seeing Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey in a darker role. Ali Fazal portrays the role of Guddu Pandit who is a gangster with Vikrant Massey as his younger brother following in on his brother’s footsteps. Divyendu Sharma will playing the role of younger brother of mafia don Kaleen Bhaiya. After reading all these names we can say that Amazon Prime is going all guns blazing into the war of top content provider in India.

The 2-minute trailer is packed with lots of blood, bad words and guns going boom. You will find it very difficult to even blink during the whole trailer. The story of Mirzapur is simple as two sons of lawyer are forced by the circumstances to enter the world of crime as they stand against don’s younger brother. But soon find themselves enjoying the power and thrill they experience during all this. The trailer has surely pumped our expectations from the crime-thriller series.

Mirzapur Trailer Release Date Cast

After the success of Sacred Games and Stree it will be a treat to watch Pankaj Tripathi in the role of don who is accompanied versatile and young actors. The cast of Mirzapur includes Shweta Tripathi from Haramkhor, Shriya Pilgaonkar from 13 Mussoorie and Rasika Duggal from Manto. The Mirzapur release date is November 16th and you can watch it on Amazon Prime.
