‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’ Extended TV Spot Reveals New Footage

Ant-Man and The Wasp, 20th MCU Movie To Get Fresh Rating On Rotten Tomatoes

Ant-Man and The Wasp is just a few weeks away from the release and like always Marvel Studios has hit the accelerator hard with all the promotions of their upcoming superhero movie. The movie will be the final Marvel Cinematic Universe release this year and we will have to wait for more than six months for Captain Marvel which will arrive in theatres on 3rd March 2019. Ant-Man and The Wasp starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne with Peyton Reed returning to direct the movie.

The movie is highly anticipated because it may have significant easter eggs leading to the incidents of blockbuster hit Avengers Infinity War. As we know that the film takes place before the events of Thanos kicking ass of Avengers. The tone of Ant-Man and The Wasp will be much lighter as compared to the emotionally breaking Infinity War and will offer MCU fans a pleasant little time.

In the new tv spot for the movie, more than half of the scenes are same where we see giant Antman trying to stop the truck, car chase sequence and various objects getting shrunk or enlarged. However, the final stages of the tv spot are brand new and give a glimpse of funniest scenes from the movie. As Scott Lang relies on the suit for his powers, what happens when the suit malfunctions and doesn’t cooperate in the dire situations that is what exactly we get to see in the tv spot.

Because of the malfunctioning, Scott Lang is left between his usual human and ant sizes giving him the appearance of a young a schoolboy. In the very final scene, we see him running down the stairs wearing a hoodie like a kid who just got free from school. As he gets into the van with Hope, Van Dyne and Hank Pym, they start making jokes about his new form. “Hiya, Champ. How was school today,” Hank asks from the driver’s seat. To this Scott replies with a sarcastic laugh and Hope while shaking her head adds  “So cranky.”

Apart from this, the movie will also introduce the character of Wasp and both the superheroes in the suits will team up to take on a new deadly villain Ghost who has the ability to phase through all sorts of solid objects.
