Apex Legends to support Cross-platform play pretty soon

Apex Legends

Electronic Arts have launched a new battle royale game ‘Apex Legends’ which is available for free play on all the platforms. The game is available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Talking about the game, it features eight legends having unique abilities. A team of three battles their way to eliminate other squads and fetch the victory.

But many players are wondering if the game supports cross-platform play. As of now, the game does not support cross-platform play, but the game officials have suggested that we will see this feature in the game pretty soon.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Respawn’s Entertainment lead producer, Drew McCoy has mentioned that cross-play for Apex Legends is currently in works and will be added soon in the coming future. It will allow the players to play matches with their friends on other platforms.

But the game will not support the cross-progression as the initial game setup and system does not allow it.

Cross-play

McCoy did not reveal any official date for cross-play to happen. The game has hit 1 million downloads in just 8 hours. It is a great success for EA and Respawn’s Entertainment.
