James Wan Confirms ‘Aquaman’ will have different tone from Justice League
Justice League had a decent run at the box office. However, it was not able to live up to the expectations of both audiences and WB studio. In that tentpole from WB, we were introduced to Cyborg, Aquaman, and Flash but Aquaman stood out from other two. The reason behind that was extra charm and muscle brought by Jason Momoa to the character.
Now, he will be getting his standalone movie, and we got our hands on the image from that shoot. He looks steamy as hell, packed with muscles and tattoos. The location in the photograph seems like an industrial plant through which Arthur curring is walking through shirtless.

Aquaman headed in better direction
James Wan is directing Aquaman who is known for his exceptional work on horror and action genre. He has movies like Conjuring and FF7 under his belt. James at the helm for this one somewhat makes evident that it will have an entirely different tone from Justice League and prior DC movies. James confirmed this by adding “It’s going to look very different, it will feel very different — aesthetically, tonally, story-wise — it’s my take. it’s a much more a traditional action-adventure quest movie.”
The recent developments regarding film & Wan in the chair brings positivity to the whole movie and character of Arthur Curry. We can expect more carved out and enigmatic Aquaman. Mamao sheds light on his part to play in it as he said “Justice League was only a weekend in Arthur Curry’s life. This is a different beast. In Aquaman, you see when his parents met and what happened to hem. Then the little boy being raised and finding his powers and going through that and never being accepted on either side. And then becoming this man who puts up all these walls. You just slowly see this man harden up and be completely reluctant wanting to be king and not knowing what to do with these powers he has. I think James Wan just killed it.”
The movie is slated for the release in November next year and consists of a stellar cast. Maybe this one brings back DC on his foots after little slip due to Justice League. Also, Jason Momoa delivers the most noteworthy performance.
