ASUS ROG Gladius ll Gaming Mouse Design
The mouse has a great ergonomic design suitable for any grip style. It uses Omron D2FC-F-K mechanical switches which are optimized for the fastest response time in the game and can withstand 50 million clicks. Like, a professional gaming mouse it has 6 programmable buttons. Two are classic left and right buttons with smooth texture coated over them. Other Two are the thumb buttons with Mayan-inspired textures below them for a firm grip. One is scroll-button coated with the same texture and has inbuilt RGB lightning. The last button is sensitivity or DPI button which is just below the scroll button. ROG Gladius ll gaming mouse has push-fit switch socket to replaces the switches. Its weight is only 20 gm more than the previous version.
Sensor And DPI
Unlike its predecessors, it has upgraded version of an optical sensor which is Optical Pixart’s PMW3390 sensor which offers DPI up to 16,000. It comes with 50 g acceleration and 1000Hz polling rate for faster tracking. ASUS made some tweaks in the sensor to improve its battery life. They have implemented a new version of MCU in order to improve power efficiency.
It has a bigger battery than the wired version of the mouse which also adds some more weight to the mouse. Gladius has also 800-mAh unit to avoid the unbalance at the centre. ASUS has also reduced the power consumption as compared to previous versions by reducing the RGB lightning of the mouse. Now without the light ring at the bottom of the mouse, it has ROG lightning only on scroll wheel and logo. Now you can have a 24-hour gaming session with lightning off with one-time charge. Gladius II can be switched into wired mode also, as you can play with it while charging from the USB cable.
“Free yourself from USB Tethers With the ROG Gladius II Wireless Gaming Mouse, ” said by ASUS. So, it is wireless which will offer a freedom to move it anywhere without any bounds.
