Avengers: Endgame is less than two months away, and the excitement level is increasing among the fans. Marvel has just dropped a trailer and a TV Spot. Now, Kevin Feige has confirmed the trailer 2 for the Avengers: Endgame. It will be going to be a full-fledged trailer not a teaser or TV spot. Going with the history of marketing of Marvel movies the trailers and release of films have been done in this way:
Trailer 1: November Last Week to December 1st
Super Bowl TV Spot: February
Trailer 2: March 3rd Week – 4th Week
Final Marketing Campaign with Teasers, Clips, TV Spot, Featurettes & Trailers: March last week – April.
Trailer-track.com and the Cosmic Wonder earlier stated that the Trailer 2 would drop between March 11 to March 21. Captain Marvel is releasing on March 8, So Marvel will want it to be in theaters for a couple of weeks and will not overshadow it with the trailer 2 of Endgame.
The two pages mentioned above reports a shift in the release of the trailer. Now the new trailer is set to land between March 25 to April 4.
The main reason for the delay of the trailer might be the exclusive coverage of Avengers: Endgame by Empire Maganize that will be released on March 21. It will include set photos, interviews and a lot of other stuff. Entertainment weekly will also release a similar coverage on March 22.
Marvel wants us to keep in the dark as far as possible and with trailer two don’t expect any footage from the second half of the film. Kevin Feige also confirmed all scenes of trailer two would be from the first half only.
