More than Saas-Bahu dramas, people these days are more interested in spending their leisure time watching web series. Many web series have grabbed the attention of viewers, so rather than wasting time in a stretch of three hours in a movie hall and wasting money for a not-so-good movie, here’s the list of Best Indian Web Series 2018 out of all the Best Web Series 2018.

1. Hear me, Love me

Amazon Prime Original Show, Hear me Love me.

Hosted by Shilpa Shetty Kundra, the show is going a superhit nowadays and is on everybody’s lips since the past few days. The show is about blind-dating where a girl/boy can just hear three of her/his suitors and can make a decision whom she/he wants as their partner. So, When it comes to dating, are looks everything?

2. Breathe

The Amazon Prime original series, starring R. Madhavan and Amit Sadh, is not your run-of-the-mill thriller.

With the case seemingly closed, and Kabir’s attention diverted, Danny makes his boldest move yet. Watch it to see a different side of father’s love, and for the fact that unlike daily soaps, we finally have great actors in this web series.

3. Ghoul

When a new prisoner arrives at a military detention centre exhibiting eerie behaviour, young interrogator Nida Rahim searches for the truth. Her quest becomes a battle for survival when the prisoner, sect leader Ali Saeed, turns the tables on Nida and the other interrogators, exposing their most shameful secrets. Nida ultimately discovers a ghoul inhabiting Saeed and she told that to her colleagues about it. She then learns the alarming truth about what its presence reveals.

4. Sacred games

Sacred Games (TV series) Sacred Games is an Indian web television thriller series based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel of the same name.

Closer home, however, Netflix didn’t seem to want to wait at all. Much to our despair, Netflix has decided to call off the production of the second season of Sacred Games, according to media reports.

5. Zakhmi

Vikram Bhatt after his success with sensational stories of Twisted 2 and Maaya 2 has decided to try his hand in a different genre now. The story revolves around a simple girl who sets out on a mission to avenge her husband’s murder, only to reveal bigger conspiracies involved in the journey and realises the fact that her battle is with none other than but those who she thought were her own people. The series will be streaming on ‘VB on the web’ and Jio Cinema.

6. The Ministry

Amazon India’s original series titled The Ministry is a political satire about the crippling Indian bureaucracy. Gursimran Khamba, one of the founders of the comedy collective- All India Bakchod, is the show’s creator, and has previously worked with Khan on the parody- Every Bollywood Party Song that went viral. Irfan Khan will be essaying the role of a washed-up, narcissistic Bollywood actor who has been appointed as a ‘placeholder’ culture minister. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

7. The Test Case

The Test Case, a 2017 Hindi web series, is directed by Vinay Waikul and Nagesh Kukunoor and produced by Endemol Shine India for the ALT Balaji App. It stars Nimrat Kaur, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, Manit Joura, and Akshay Oberoi in lead roles along with Juhi Chawla in a guest appearance. The pilot episode is already available for streaming on the ALT Balaji App and its associated websites. Recently, the producer of the show has announced that shooting for the remaining nine episodes has been completed and can be streamed from 26th January 2018. This web series is about the main character training to be the first woman test case in a combat role, within the Indian Army.

8. The Reunion

It is a story about best friends. A story about meeting someone you loved, cared for and shared plenty of memories after a gap of 10 years. The show makes you nostalgic and takes you right down memory lane. ‘The Reunion’ is a story of four friends played by Sapna Pabbi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Anuj Sachdeva, and Veer Rajwant Singh and their journey, which is filled with unexpected twists and turns.

9. Rushes

The Vibe’s ‘Rushes’ shows a concept that we haven’t seen in a very long time in India. It uncovers the stories of India’s home-grown adrenaline junkies, who are driven by their passion to lead an alternate, counter-cultural lifestyle. The series introduces us to seven different path-breakers embarking on adventures, fuelled by an insatiable hunger for extreme sports. The makers have tried to document their escapades that will leave you both impressed and inspired at the same time.

10. Love On The Rocks

Love can be experienced in the most expected ways in the most unexpected places. MensXP’s ‘Love On The Rocks’ is all about short stories that somehow connects to our lives. The series brings 8 different stories of modern relationships. From talking about falling in love, live-in relationships to complexities that we often face, this show should be on every millennial’s list. Touching different genres, every episode brings a new tale altogether highlighting what love today stands for.
