Marvel is taking the world by storm on the big screen with its successive blockbuster movies, but it is not far behind on the smaller screen. As this year Marvel with Netflix has delivered power-packed Season 2 of Luke Cage and a reasonably decent season 2 of Jessica Jones. Now it is all set to bring the titular hero Daredevil with its third season, the one who started it all on the small screen. From long there have been rumours that Bullseye will be making an appearance in the Daredevil season 3 and give him a tough fight. The details regarding the inclusion of this significant Marvel villain in the series has been kept under the radar for a long time.
We got the first glimpse of the character back in season 1 with one of Fisk’s hired guns carrying an ace playing card in his bag. Attentive Fans immediately realized that probably in future Netflix will be introducing the famous character to give Devil of Hell’s Kitchen a tough fight. Bullseye’s presence in Daredevil season 3 was confirmed in May when a swag bag having the new logo appeared online. The new logo distinctively pointed towards the inclusion of Bullseye as a main villain for the upcoming season.
Soon the news broke out of actor Wilson Bethel’s name being associated with the character. Yesterday his role was confirmed by a very unusual source. Arazi Fitness personal trainer Naqam Washington shared an image on his Instagram account, showing him training with Bethel and Daredevil star Charlie Cox. Perhaps unwisely, Washington tagged the post “#Daredevil and #Bullseye.”
Not many details regarding the character have been revealed it is just known that Bethel will be portraying the role of a mystery FBI Agent. It was made clear that Bethel will be portraying the role of an antagonist and FBI will serve as a cover up for the character to keep an eye on Daredevil. Bullseye is one of the major villains of the Daredevil, who is known as the man without any fear. His skill sets include high precision for marksmanship. Bullseye never misses the target, however, Daredevil’s enhanced senses help him dodge the attack from the powerful villain. We can expect to get a more detailed character development of Bullseye as in earlier seasons showrunners have gone to extreme lengths to make character connect with audiences.
The season 3 of Daredevil will take loose inspiration from the from Frank Miller’s classic “Born Again” arc. Viewers have been eager to see the MCU’s Daredevil throw down with a new version of Bullseye. Daredevil season 3 is expected to hit the screens late in 2018.
