COCO:- Pacesetter of 2018, bagging sizable at Annie Awards

A 3D computer-animated musical fantasy blockbuster film produced by Pixar animation and released by Walt Disney. The film is conceptualized on the Mexican holiday of the Day of the Dead.

The story chase a 12 year old boy named Miguel Rivera who secretly aspires to be a musician like Emesto, a renowned actor and singer, despite a strict ‘NO’ from his family is haphazardly transferred to the land of dead, where he explore aid from his departed musician the great grand father to rebound him to his family among the living.

The film received appreciation and awards for its animation, vocal performances and emotional story with respect to the Mexican Culture. Recently it fetched 45th Annie Awards, leading in every category the film won in 11 of the 13 categories which it was nominated for, bagging 11 trophies overall,in addition to best animated feature.”COCO” also conquered a price for direction, voice acting and animated effects.

The song “Remember Me” was particularly praised. At the 75th Golden Globe Awards, it was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song. It has had an amazing race both in terms of box office earnings and awards season bagging them all from Disney,With its dominance at the Annie Awards, Coco is clearly the pacesetter to win the top animation award at the Oscars.
