It is possible that major changes are coming for concussion grenades in Blackout Mode in Black Ops 4. David Vonderhaar is the Treyarch Studio Design Director hints about the probable concussion grenades’ nerf in Blackout. Probably, Concussion Grenades’ removal is going to happen in the next Blackout update. Let’s see the hint that he dropped.

If you are a regular player of Black Ops 4’s Blackout, then you must be knowing about the fuss that concussion grenades case in the game. Well, maybe you don’t find it fussy but some of you must have experienced the fuss. Many players find the concussion grenades OP as they leave you helpless by blocking your every sense in the game. Hence, many players want it removed or at least nerfed.

Basically, concussion grenades leave you blind, deaf(kind of) and you can’t even heal yourself during its effect. Apart from all this, the worst part is, you can’t counter it in any way.

On Monday, January 21st, a tweet by the YouTuber, PrestigeIsKey, says, “Blackout would be a much better mode without Concussions”. To this, the OpTic Gaming member Ashley ‘MiDNiTE’ Glassel replied, “100%.”

David Vonderhaar himself replied to MiDNiTE’s tweet, “I agree with MiDNiTE but not with Prestige.” Does this mean that concussion grenades are going to be removed?

Well, we aren’t exactly sure about that as the statement made by Vonderhaar is quite confusing. His tweet hints towards the removal of the Concussion Grenades possibly. If not, then t least a big nerf is incoming for the grenades.

Although, there’s no official announcement by Treyarch itself, so we have to wait for the next announcement by them or the next update for Blackout. It’s sure that most of the Black Ops 4 fans will be happy to hear this news. Stay tuned for more such news about Black Ops 4.
