Dragon Ball Franchise is one of the most popular anime in the world and its credit goes to its art director who put their soul to make it look spectacular in every way possible. In the Dragon Ball series, we have seen our heroes often travelling to planets other than earth which includes planet Namek and others. This event of planet exploration will stretch further in the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie too, as we will witness one new planet in the movie
In an interview with the art directors of the film, Nobohito Sue and Kazuo Ogura, they briefed about the new worlds in the film
Dragon Ball Super: Broly includes new planet Banpa in the movie
In the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie will see the inclusion of one new planet named Banpa, which will be comprised of “large valleys and creature-infested lakes. In addition to it, we will observe all new look for Planet Vegeta also. The art directors have further explained, they wanted to give it a new touch, that is why even on the battle on earth, they have chosen a new arctic location, which has been rarely seen. The creators of Dragon Ball Super: Broly wants to make it as unique as possible
They were surprised at the amount of freedom they’ve had on this project. Shueisha and Toriyama simply gave them general guidelines at the start: first, each planet should have its own motif. Planet Vegeta for instance is dominated by circles and squares.
