Fortnite Battle Royale Season 6 (Patch V6.0) is now live in the game and its full patch notes have been released
The Fortnite Season 6 Map has received significant changes and all these changes have been incorporated in this major update.
The commencement of Fortnite Season 6 has included new locations to the map
As we know the Big Purple Cube has melted into the Loot Lake, now we have a floating island at that location
Also, the Viking Village has now got its name and Viking Village is located to the south of Snobby Shores

As the users expected, there will be a lot of map changes for Season 6, but it looks like not much happened as the only major map change is a large floating island on the loot lake and few changes in other sub-locations as mentioned below, previously there was bouncing layer of ice which now broken and it has a floating island at that place

The Loot Lake house is now floating on an island above a whirlpool in the center of the lake.
Multiple new Cabins, as well as an underground Bunker, can be found in the once barren forest.
Where the Runes once were now sits the Corrupted Areas which hold the Shadow Stones.
Harvesting season seems to be upon us as Corn Fields have now grown.

Hero & Villain Bases
The remnants of the Season 4 Hero & Villain Bases still stand, barely.
