Recently Avengers Infinity War was released and being a Marvel fanboy I was really excited about the movie but sadly I was not able to watch it, the first day and guess what, I spent the whole day scrolling through that “spoiler feed” trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible but at the end of the day you know what would have happened, right?

Well this week Facebook introduced its new Snooze feature for testing which allows you to snooze certain keywords temporarily. Last year if you remember, Facebook rolled out a similar feature which allowed users to snooze people and pages which they don’t want to see so you can think of this new feature as an extension of that. So basically what it does is if you snooze a keyword then Facebook won’t show you the posts which contain that keyword for about 30 days.

This feature is quite easy to use, you just have to click on the drop-down menu of the post which is present at the top right corner of the post, select option to snooze keyword then a list of keywords from the post will appear, then select the keywords you don’t want to see.

But before you snooze a keyword let me tell you that currently, you can’t un-snooze a keyword before the 30 days time limit so beware for before doing that. But since this feature is in testing we can expect there will be an option to do so after some time.

The company is also working on an option which will allow users to choose snoozing time accordingly, a spokesperson said.
