Fast & Furious is one of the best movie franchises when it comes to action films based on racing. The franchise revived itself with the title Fast Five and gained global success. But the last part of the series ‘The Fate of the Furious’ did not do well at the box office, which led Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham to move out of the series. But the favorite duo will be seen in a spin off movie Hobbs & Shaw. Well for Fast and Furious 9 we have to wait a bit longer as the franchise has shifted the release date of the movie from April 10, 2020, to May 22, 2020.
The last two parts of the franchise were released in early April, with the upcoming movie to be released in May; it seems that it will deviate from the usual schedule of release in April.
Universal has just announced that ‘Fast & Furious 9’ (still to be titled) will drive from its Easter weekend April 10, 2020 release date to May 22, 2020, which is Memorial Day weekend https://t.co/tM4Hb5kKD8

The move from the Fast & Furious franchise could also be accredited to the shifted dates for the new James Bond film, which is now being delayed until April 8, 2020.
Now we have seen many big production companies release their films in April, and the most prominent example of them all is the release of Avengers End Game.
