In November 2018, Epic told that a total of 200 million players play Fortnite. They also revealed that the record for the most concurrent player live in-game was 8.3 million. This new number of 10 million concurrent players has just broken that record, according to Keighley.

Check out the tweet below by Geoff Keighley:

He tweeted this just after he tweeted about the Marshmello event being the biggest free concert ever. He also told that the current Guinness World Record holder for this title is Rod Stewart in Rio in 1993 with 3.5 million attendees.

The Marshmello Event was not just a huge success for Epic but was technologically dope too.
