After many speculations and leaks, Nintendo announced most popular Battle Royal title for Nintendo Switch. During Nintendo press conference at E3 2018, Nintendo Europe twitter account made the announcement for the release of Fortnite on Nintendo Switch.

Fortnite Nintendo Switch is free and available now on Nintendo eShop. This game is the first Battle Royal game to release on Nintendo Switch. It had already made a massive money and gained some much popularity on other platforms. Its presence on the Nintendo Switch will attract more gamers on the platform. This game is perfect for consoles.

Epic Games confirmed the presence of crossplay in the game via Twitter but will not available for PlayStation 4.

Fortnite developer Epic Games has now provided more details of the upcoming release on Nintendo Switch.

“We are excited to announce that starting today, Fortnite Battle Royale is available on Nintendo Switch. We can’t wait to board the Battle Bus with all of you Nintendo fans!”

“The game will be rolling out to all regions via the Nintendo eShop today. North America is live now, and the game will be available worldwide at 5:00pm ET/ 9:00pm UTC.”
