Fortnite is continuing breaking the records each month. So far, Fortnite is one of the most successful games of this decade and the height of its popularity is increasing further

While announcing the Fall Skirmish Series, Epic games have revealed on their official website that they have amassed most number of player in the month of August.

Since the launch of the game in September 2017, Fortnite Battle Royale has broken numerous records including the highest number of twitch stream viewership for the game

As per the official post by Epic Games, they have touched the bar of 78.3 million players across the six different platforms including (PC, PS4, Xbox One. iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch)

Epic Games have also highlighted that due to a mass number of players tuning up to the Fortnite a lot of technical issues has to be improved

As per the previous report, Fortnite has been downloaded 125 million times in the month of July, these numbers are before the release of the game for Android version.

With a huge number of players joining to the game also generating million dollars of revenue for the Epic Games, as per the reports Epic games are generating nearly $300 million each month.

Fortnite Battle Royale mode is free to play, but the company is making money through in-game purchases of Battle Pass, Skins, Backpacks, Gliders and Emotes. Also, many players purchase V-Bucks which is in-game currency in Fortnite Battle Royale Game
