Google ARCore 1.3 to support OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5T, and more

Augmented reality in the mobile sector is still growing where it has already grown in other fields, like in healthcare sector. But tech companies like Google and Apple are constantly working on bringing the best of the augmented reality in mobile devices. Apple is working on its AR platform called ARKit which is going to be more productive as Apple unveiled in the annual tech conference WWDC 2018. And like Apple’s ARKit, tech giant Google ARCore is also a platform for augmented reality for applications in Android devices, which is supporting a lot of Android devices and not only Pixel series smartphones but also others. And today, the next version of ARCore, that is, Google ARCore 1.3 has started to roll out for the Android applications on the Play Store, supporting a number of Android devices, which also includes OnePlus 5T, Xiaomi newly launched Mi 8, Honor 10, Nokia 6, Nokia 7 Plus.

ARCore is available on different Android devices already, since it doesn’t need hardware to function. And here are all the devices that already support ARCore, the Google augmented reality platform as of June 19th, 2018.
