What is Google Stadia
Google representative at GDC 2019, explains Google Stadia as “Our vision for stadia is simple: One place for all ways we play,” while revealing the first glance at the device.
Google Stadia is a cloud game streaming platform which does not require you to download games, just stream the games instantly onto any screen at any time and that too in high graphics. The platform supports a 4K resolution at 60 fps.
Players can connect the Stadia controller to Stadia server wirelessly with an active Wi-Fi connection. There is no physical console, you can directly access the game on Stadia cloud servers.
Google Stadia is using an impressive Multi-GPU technology offering 10.7 GPU (teraflops), which is higher than PS4 (4.2) and Xbox One combined (6.2).
The cloud gaming platform also supports cross-platform play for online multiplayer games. YouTube gaming streamers can use the option of State share which allows viewers to watch the stream in real time.
In the initial phase, Stadia will be launched in countries including UK, USA, Canada and Europe.
