Google’s upcoming models for its Pixel series have been leaked extensively and now fresh images show the Pixel 3 XL in a working condition, its retail box, and its internal components as well. Not just that, an unboxing video of the alleged Google Pixel 3 XL ‘Clearly White’ colour was uploaded on Reddit. The box showed all the accessories that the smartphone is expected to come with when it launches in October.

The video is posted on Reddit and shows the phone as well as the accessories that the device is expected to ship with. The video starts with a person removing a smartphone from the box. Interestingly, the back of the device is seen first, which means that someone has already taken a peep inside the box. Generally, smartphone makers pack the retail box with phones placed in display-up fashion. Coming back to video, we could see a single camera, a flash and a centrally placed fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphone. From the back, the overall design seems to have not changed much when compared with its predecessor. The person in the video does not show the phone in the ‘switched on’ condition so it is hard to comment if the phone is real.

One more video (posted above) was released by Android Police claiming to be of the Pixel 3 XL. The video also showed the AnTuTu benchmark of the phone. It is seen to sport a 6.7-inch display, a 3,430mAh battery, a 12.2-megapixel rear camera, and three 8.1-megapixel front cameras – one of which is speculated to provide Face ID style recognition, and another is thought to be either a reporting error by AnTuTu or a virtual sensor.

The picture (above) which came via Russian tech blogger Канал Лучкова’s, confirm much of what we already know, showing the Pixel 3s chunky notch, its single-lens rear camera and its new uniform colour scheme, with Google ridding of its usual two-tone design. A screenshot of the handset’s Settings menu confirms that the alleged Pixel 3 XL runs on Android 9 and packs an 8-core Qualcomm processor (presumably the Snapdragon 845) paired with a measly 4GB RAM and an Adreno GPU. The image also confirms the handset’s screen resolution of 1440×2960 and pixel density of 494.
