You might be wondering, how the new Trim Silence feature works. The new feature is basically a time-saving feature. For instance, if you are streaming a podcast, you will definitely find the casual pauses and the gaps. So, what this feature is, it shortens the length of the audio by eliminating those gaps and pauses completely. And it is amazing to see, how Google is about to use the Artificial Intelligence remedy in this new feature too.

Talking more about the Google Podcasts app, it’s another service by Google which offers podcasts from a variety of genres and a curated list according to user’s tastes. The user can either stream online or download their favorite podcasts easily, and subscribe to their favorite provider.

The Podcasts app also has integration within the Google Assistant, which means you can listen to Podcasts on all devices that support assistant, like your Google Home and other devices. Not only this, the app will soon bring in automatic closed-captions if you have a problem in hearing or you are in a noisy environment. It will provide a real-time transcript for the audio session so that you don’t miss out on anything.

If you have joined the beta-testing program for the Google podcasts app, you can test out the new feature, in the version 8.9 of the app. But if you are not a beta-tester, you need not wait for a long, the app will be out by this week only, with the new Trim Silence feature

While those who are already part of the beta-testing program for the Google app can already test out the new feature, version 8.9 of the app is expected to hit the stable channel in a few days’ time, so users who are not part of the program shouldn’t have to wait too long to get it on their devices.
