When you are travelling to the foreign country, reading a menu in other language or reading the hoarding can be a really daunting task. We often use varied translators available to us on Google Play Store. But one translator which wins against all is the Google Translate.

In the recent update, Google has launched an AI-based translator which can be downloaded offline. So if you are travelling to a remote location or foreign country where your mobile data might not work, you can utilise this offline based translator which is available for both the Android and iOS.

On previous occasions, Google Translate sometimes displays bizarre results when it tries to decipher a language with alphabet and roots, like Russian or Chinese.

But we expect with the AI-based technology which is being enhanced and improved with every update from Google, translations will do lesser mistakes and fetch us out correct results.

Google has mentioned that this offline Google Translator update will be rolled out in batches. With 13% of users will receive the update by 13th and while the remaining users will receive the update by 15th of June

Google offline translator will be available for these 59 languages in the initial period which includes Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Belarusian, Bengali, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, French, Galician, Georgian, German, Greek, Gujarati, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Jannada, Korean, Lavtian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Maltese, Marathi, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, and Welsh.
