New York Comic Con has been surprising for many who attended the Comic-Con. At the NYCC, Warner Bros. Animation presented the Harley Quinn animated series teaser. Also, the Harley Quinn animated series cast was also announced. It happened after the Titans screening and the Q&A session.

Harley Quinn Animated Series Teaser Breakdown

The clip was specially prepared for New York Comic Con. In the clip, Harley Quinn was shown with her Arkham Asylum roommate Poison Ivy. Further, Batman was also shown. The titular character promises that the fans will piss themselves after watching the show. Whereas Poison Ivy counters Harley by saying that we all will hate it. Quinn then counters Ivy with the promise of comedy and action. She also said that the show will include “incredibly gratuitous violence”. She took on the Deadpool cartoon which failed to come out by taunting, “unlike that Deadpool cartoon, it’s actually comin’ out!”

Harley targets the Marvel failed show of Deadpool. Also, when Ivy suggests that DC is all about being super gritty, bleak and depressing. Harley admits that it’s “an excellent way to make television and film,” though it’s not the route her show will take. Also, given below is the Harley Quinn animated series teaser:

Except for the first teaser, the Harley Quinn animated series cast was also announced. Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco will be voicing the lead role. Moreover, she will be the executive producer of the show. The other Harley Quinn animated series cast includes Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Tony Hale, Chris Meloni. The Batman will be voiced by Diedrich Bader. He was the one who voiced Batman in The Brave and the Bold.

Harley Quinn Animated Series Spoilers

The animated series will be streaming next year on DC Universe. The synopsis reveals that the titular character will be trying to earn a place on the Legion of Doom with the help of Poison Ivy. After she breaks up with the Joker, she strikes out on her own in this new adult animated comedy. With the help of Poison Ivy and a crew of DC castoffs, Harley tries to earn a seat in the Legion of the Doom.

The animated series will be written and executive produced by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey. The first season of Harley Quinn arrives next year on DC Universe with 26 episodes.
