Hitman 2 level will be based on Mumbai Slums and Bollywood


Hitman, the popular 3rd-person stealth action game franchise, developed by IO Interactive studios is going to launch the most awaited second game in the series, Hitman 2 on 13th of November. The game was officially announced at the starting of 2018, and after that, the IO Interactive studios has launched a number of trailers showing the new location like Miami, Florida and Santa Fortuna, where the different mission of Hitman 2 will take place. And in the new trailer called Untouchable, the company has shown the glimpse of level Mumbai, which is one of the seven locations, where the game will take you the slums and Bollywood locations of Mumbai.

According to a post by IO studios, Mumbai is one of the major locations where the game mission will take place. “Nicknamed ‘City of Dreams’, Mumbai is a treat for any visiting traveller or agent on a mission,” developer studios mentioned in a post.

“Lose yourself in the crowds of the city’s famous slums or admire Bollywood movie locations from afar; Mumbai will not disappoint with its colourful life and countless hidden secrets,” IO added.

Other than Mumbai, some of the other real locations where the mission will take place, include Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand, also the locations like Miami, Florida and Santa Fortuna, Colombia. Other than the real locations on the globe, the company also included some fictional locations, which are not a real imagination but are inspired by the real location in the various part of the globe. The Sniper Assassin Mode in Hitman 2 is based on Himmelstein, Austria, and other fictional locations are Whittleton Creek in the US, and the Isle of Sgàil in the North Atlantic Ocean.

The Hitman 2 launch is all set for 13th of November, and the second series of the stealth action game will be available on all platform PC, PS4 and Xbox One, worldwide.
