HP has launched two new laptops, Pavilion 15 and Omen 15 aimed at the gaming market in order to boost its gaming portfolio in India. The Pavilion 15 is aimed at the mainstream, budget gamers whereas the Omen 15 is aimed at professionals who are looking for a relatively affordable device to play on the go.
HP Pavilion 15 Specifications:
Pavilion 15 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with 9.8mm thin bezels. It packs the latest Intel 8th-generation either Core i5 H-series or Core i7 H-series processor along with 8GB of RAM, depending on the variant. You also get a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX1050Ti graphics card with 4GB of GDDR5 memory. The laptops come with 1TB of HDD storage clocked at 7200 rpm, while the top variants also feature additional 128GB SSD storage. The laptop has dual speakers, mounted at the top of the keyboard deck which support Bang & Olufsen Play with HP Audio Boost technology. Overall design of the device also seems pretty decent for the price.
HP Omen 15 Specifications:
On the other hand, the Omen 15 comes with a 15.6-inch UHD IPS anti-glare panel which has refresh rate of 144 Hz. It packs 8th generation Intel Core i7 8750H processor with 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM depending on the variant. It gives three options of graphic cards to choose from, the Nvidia GeForce GTX1050Ti, GTX1060 or GTX1070 whereas the storage is a standard 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD across all variants. The laptop comes with the more aggressive and radical styling of the Omen range which gives it a very unique visual appeal.
HP also launched a bunch of other accessories including, Transceptor backpack, Sequencer keyboard, Reactor mouse along with few other accessories.
For those who are thinking to buy either of these, the Pavillion 15 range starts at Rs 74,990, while the HP Omen 15 comes with a more premium price tag of Rs 1,05,990. Both laptops will be available across HP’s online and offline retail partners.
