After much leaks and rumors Taiwanese company HTC has announced the launch of it’s latest HTC U11 EYEs in Taiwan and China.
HTC U11 EYEs specifications
The HTC U11 EYEs runs on HTC Sense based on Android 7.1 Nougat. It has a 6.0-inch full-HD+ Super LCD3 display with a resolution of (1080*1920 pixels) with an 18:9 aspect ratio and it also has corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection of the screen.
The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. HTC USonic audio technology with active noise reduction is also present on the phone.
Taking about the cameras, the U11 EYEs has a 12-UltraPixel rear sensor with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), OIS, aperture of f/1.7, and dual-tone dual-LED flash.
For selfies there is a dual camera setup on the front that has two 5-megapixel sensors with HDR support and has f/2.2 aperture and also have Bokeh effect for both selfies and video calling.
As per Connectivity is concerned it supports 4G(dual sim), GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, and NFC. It have all major Sensors which include fingerprint sensor(which is present on the front), face recognition sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, distance sensor, magnetic sensor. The phone is also IP67 certified which makes it dust and water resistance.
It is backed up with 3930mAh battery(which is the biggest on an HTC smartphone yet)with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
Price and availability:
It is priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 32,500) and the first sale on January 25and the registrations will start from Monday(January 15 itself).The phone is launched in Taiwan and China and its availability for others markets in not confirmed yet.
