Fortnite Battle Royale Game made a huge profit of $3 Billion in the year 2018 and its success charts have already broken many records. Last year, Epic Games organised tournaments like Fortnite Summer Skirmish and Fall Skirmish which became a huge success among the gamers and it also attracted viewership in millions. Now, Epic Games and ESL is taking the Fortnite Game to a larger competitive level with the launch of IEM Katowice Royale 2019.
For the CS: GO competitive, ESL Katowice is considered as a major grand slam title, so we can co-relate the magnitude of the IEM Katowice Royale 2019. The pool prize money for this tournament is $500,000 and the tournament will feature big names from the Fortnite Community all around the world.
In a recent Twitter post, ESL has confirmed the list of 35 duos which will take part in this tournament and it also includes the famous pair of Tfue and Cloak.

Among the big names, it includes Team Liquid’s Thomas ’72hrs’ Mulligan, Ryan ‘Chap’ Chaplo, FaZe Clan’s Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney, and Team Vitality’s Klaivert ‘Teeqzy’ Dervishi alongside duo Johann ‘Mushway’ Cyr.
It is interesting to see that the duo list includes the players from different nationalities.
The full list of players can be expected before the start of the competition. IEM ESL Katowice Royale 2019 is scheduled from 1st March- 3rd March.
