Will ‘Kill or Be Killed’ be just another comic book movie?
John Wick: Chapter 2 was one of the best action movies this year with Chad Stahelski at the helm. Earlier he served as co-director for the John Wick. With John Wick 2 he has proved that he can give an excellent movie own his own. John Wick 2 was grittier and action-packed as compared to John Wick which made fans to fall in love with the franchise. Now he will be entering the comic book movies realm with the adaption of Ed Brubaker‘s darkly comic ‘Kill or Be Killed’ which came out in the year 2016.
The story revolves around a depressed college student named Dylan, who attempts suicide. However, he is saved because of some unnatural causes. After few days he is visited by a demon who explains that he spared Dylan’s life. In exchange, Dylan can live for one more month for every person he kills. As the story proceeds it focuses on the vigilante violence and how Dylan’s loved ones are affected by all this.
Chad will join hands with his John Wick Producer Basil Iwanyk along with Dan Casey who will be involved in the writing the script for the movie. Currently, Chad has his hands wholly filled as he is working on the John Wick: Chapter 3 and long-awaited Highlander remake. From the plot and direction style of Chad, it looks like the movie will have the dark tone and will surely make a fun watch.
