The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has launched a new budget smartphone in its hometown budded Lenovo S5 pro, the successor of the S5 launched back in March this year. The cornerstone for the device are its dual selfie cameras and the infrared face unlock feature. Let’s have a look at the specifications and price of the smartphone.
Lenovo S5 Pro Specifications :
The smartphone is equipped by a 6.18-inch full-HD+display with a resolution of (1080×2246 pixels) with an 18.7:9 aspect ratio that means it houses a notch on the top of the display to feature the front cameras and the sensors.
In the hardware department, the Lenovo S5 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The graphics of the phone are handled by the Adreno 509 GPU. The phone gets 64Gb and 128Gb as the storage options that can be expanded via microSD card up to 128 Gb.
In the photography department, Lenovo S5 pro features dual rear camera setup with a primary 20-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 12 Megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture.
On the front, the phone is equipped with dual selfies cameras with a 20-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. It also has an infrared powered system to unlock the device via face recgonition.
The Lenovo S5 pro is fueled by a 3,500 mAH battery with 15W fast charging via USB type- C port and other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has all major sensors namely an ambient light, electronic compass, gravity, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a fingerprint sensor that sits on the rear side.
Lenovo S5 Pro price :
The Lenovo S5 Pro is priced at CNY 1,298 (roughly Rs. 13,700) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant in China. The price of the 128GB storage model is yet to be announced. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting from October 23 in China and colour options include Black, Blue, and Gold.
