Lenovo is all set to launch a new smartphone on March 20 in china. Chang Cheng (newly appointed VP of Lenovo ) is teasing a new smartphone on the china’s social media platform Weibo, namely, the Lenovo S5 .
According to the teasers posted by Cheng, the Lenovo S5 will feature a huge 6000mAh battery at the same time will sport a slim body. The device will be firstly unveiled in China then it might make its way to the India. Chang Cheng posted a lot about the Lenovo S5 smartphone and leaked multiple images, which confirms that the phone will come with a glass back and will run on ZUI out of the box.
As per another teaser the Lenovo S5 might feature a dedicated hardware security chip, of which details are not known. Lenovo, in past, has released a lot of smartphones with massive batteries like Lenovo P2 with huge 5100 mAh battery maintaining the slim body. So it is not a big thing to include a 6000 mAh battery for Lenovo.
Also, there is no Vibe branding in any of the photos posted by Chang Cheng, which suggests that Lenovo is ditching the Vibe branding in china also as Lenovo has already stopped it in India.
The Lenovo S5 will be the successor of the Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone launched back in 2015 with dual selfie cameras and which has gorgeous design and compact form factor.
