After a plethora of leaks and rumors, LG has announced LG V40 ThinQ – the flagship device. The cornerstone for the Smartphone is its five cameras, three on the rear and two on the front.  The things like the Snapdragon 845, IP68 rating and OLED display are also the main highlights of the smartphone. The LG V40 ThinQ leaves the factory with Android 8.1 Oreo and is equipped with a 6.4-inch QHD+  OLED FullVision disay with a resolution of (1440×3120 pixels ) and comes with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio that means it features a notch on the top of the display to house the front camera and the sensors. The Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is applied of the top of the panel to protect it.

In terms of hardware, the LG V40  ThinQ gets its strength for the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS2.1 internal storage that can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 2TB).

In the photography department, the LG V40 ThinQ stack a triple rear camera setup.

The primary 12-megapixel sensor with f/1.5 aperture, 1.4-micron pixel size and 78-degree viewing angle.

Secondary 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with f/1.9 aperture, 1-micron pixel size, and 107-degree viewing angle.

Third camera is a 12-megapixel sensor telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 1-micron pixel size, and 45-degree viewing angle.

For selfies, On the front, the smartphone also houses dual camera setup with an 8-megapixel camera as the primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 1.4-micron pixel size. Another 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor acts as a secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4-micron pixel size.

The LG V40 ThinQ is fueled by a 3,300 mAh battery with support for the fast charging and the fast charger is provided inside the box. The smartphone also supports the fast wireless charging. To boast the sound experience the phone comes with traditional Boombox sound technology of LG.

As far as the connectivity is concerned it include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and thankfully have the 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone measures 158.7×75.8×7.79mm and it weighs 169 grams.
