Nokia owned by HMD Global has Launched the Nokia 6.1 plus in India today at an event in New Delhi. The company has launched the phone last month in china, although it was dubbed Nokia X6 in China and have a few minor changes than the version Launched today in India. The smartphone is branded under Android One and features the infamous Notch.

Nokia 6.1 Plus Specifications :

The Nokia 6.1 Plus runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo, and it branded under Android one platform means the update of next versions of Android is guaranteed.

The smartphone is equipped a 5.8-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is housed by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device offers 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 400 GB.

In terms of optics,  Nokia 6.1 Plus sport a dual rear camera setup, with a 16-megapixel camera as the primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels. The 5 Megapixel camera acts as a secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 1.12-micron pixels. A dual-tone flash also sits along with the cameras on the rear side.
On the front, the smartphone offers a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels.

As far as the Connectivity is concerned the phone includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C (v2.0), GPS/ A-GPS. Thankfully the 3.5mm headphone jack is also present which  xiaomi skipped on the  recently launched Mi A2.
The  Nokia 6.1 plus includes all major Sensors namely accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, digital compass, and a proximity sensor. It is fueled by a 3060mAh battery with support for fast Charging technology. The device measures 147.2×70.98×7.99mm, and weighs 151 grams.

Nokia 6.1 Plus price in India :

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 15,999 in India and it will be available form 30 August via Flipkart and Nokia’s Online Store. However, you can pre-order the phone today itself.

The price of the smartphone is great and it will directly compete with the most touted device the Redmi Note 5 pro.
