After record breaking sales of Nokia X6, HMD Global launched their second device in the X series lineup, the Nokia X5 today. The launch took place in an event in China. The Nokia X5 is the second smartphone by HMD Global which has the notched display. This stunning device has very similar design language to that of Nokia X6, which is already one of the best looking smartphone in the mid-range segment.
The Nokia X5 sports a 5.86-inch, HD+ IPS LCD display with a 2.5D curved glass and a 19:9 aspect ratio. On the camera front, the phone offers a 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup at the back. There is a 5 MP selfie shooter on the front which is also used for face unlocking. To let the device connected to the world, the company has given support for 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device houses a 3060mAh battery and weighs around 160 grams. The Nokia X5 will be available in three color variants, namely Night Black, Baltic Sea Blue, and Glacier White.
The Nokia X5 has been priced at CNY 999 (approx Rs 10,200) for the base variant and CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 14,300) for the high-end variant.
