Within a span of a few years, Oppo has managed to go from a small company in China to one of the top Smartphone companies in the world, thanks to its continued innovation. From making good smartphone cameras for everyone to pushing out tech that even the likes of Apple, Samsung and LG can’t provide right now is a feat no one else can achieve. And now, the Oppo Find X specs are going to blow your mind away.
Oppo has been teasing the Find X for quite some time now and all sorts of leaks have surfaced. We may have an idea of what the next-gen flagship is going to be like.
Design : To Notch or not to Notch
The Oppo Find x’s design has been one of the most talked about subject online, and it definitely deserves to be. The device is expected to have a screen to body ratio of an astounding 93.8%, indicating a full body design. Since the ratio is more than that of Vivo NEX, we expect a notchless design. Although there have been rumors of Oppo registering a device with a notch.
At this point it is still unclear which path Oppo will choose to follow. Our money is on the former, as Oppo is not one to shy away from implementing new technologies. Also the notch will bring down the screen to body ratio.
Oppo Find X is also speculated have a dual glass body with both the front and back covered by Gorilla Glass.
The dimensions according to a TENAA listing are 156×74.2×9.6mm, giving it a bit bulky aesthetic in our opinion.
The screen is reportedly a dual curved 6.4 inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution of 2360×1080 with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 . The question about the notch still remains.
It’s almost the end of Q2 of 2018 and any flagship phone right now is destined to sport the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset. Oppo Find X will supposedly follow trend and sport the latest chip. Coming to RAM, the phone is expected to sport 6 or 8 GB of memory, although the exact configuration is unknown right now. Looking at the performance, the phone feels like a beast waiting to be unleashed.
The phone is slated to have two SKUs of 128 and 256 GB of built in storage, although a few rumours suggest more options to be released later.
The phone will wield a dual rear shooter with 20MP primary camera and a 16MP f/2.0 secondary camera. The exact configuration of the secondary camera is still under wraps. The front camera will be a mind-boggling 25MP f/2.0 to shoot those crystal clear selfies.
Oppo Find X may support a huge 3730 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging. The smartphone will come with Android 8.1 built in (with expected updates to Android P) along with Oppo’s own ColorOS 5.1. It will weigh around 186 g. Find X is also expected to sport 5X lossless optical zoom on the primary camera. Oppo may also throw in 3D facial recognition up-front. Find X is going to be a serious tech mashup.
With all these spec leaks and speculations, the phone right now is the hottest topic in the tech community. What it turns out to be, only time will tell. Stay tuned with us for any further updates.
