Oppo R17 Pro with triple camera Setup, tiny Notch, SuperVOOC charging goes official
After a plethora of leaks, rumours and teasers the Oppo R17 goes official. The company listed the phone on its official website. The design of the smartphone is quite interesting although it might not be comparable with the Oppo Find X. The R17 features a beautiful tiny notch or what company says the waterdrop notch which was introduced with the Oppo F9 pro, launched a few days back. The main highlight of the smartphone is its triple camera setup that we will talk about later.
Oppo R17 Specifications :
The smartphone sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with a tiny waterdrop notch and is protected by the Corning Gorilla glass 6 which was also unveiled recently. The phone comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5%.
In terms of hardware, the Oppo R17 is housed by the Snapdragon 710 processor which makes it the second phone to feature SD 710, first was Mi 8 SE. The smartphone packs whopping 8 Gb of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The device comes with all major sensors, along with the in-display fingerprint sensor.
Now the most interesting part of the phone the camera, the phone packs a triple camera setup on the rear side, similar to the Huawei P20 Pro.
On the rear Side :
- The first camera is a 12 Megapixel sensor with variable aperture from f/1.5 to 2.4.
- The second camera is a 20 Megapixel camera with f/2.6 aperture.
- The third camera is a TOF 3D stereo camera, what actually is does isn’t clear yet.
On the front, the features a 25 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone is fueled by the 3,700 mAh battery with the support of another touted feature the SuperVOOC charging technology which is claimed to charge the phone 40% in just 10 minutes.
Talking about the price of the smartphone, it is listed at a price of ¥4299.00 (Roughly Rs. 44,000) on the Oppo’s website. The phone is excepted to go on sale in October.
