A piece of concerning news is coming out of Pokemon Go community that accounts on level 40 are disappearing from the game.
This latest issue in the game is deleting the Pokemon Go accounts permanently. Moreover, it is applying only to accounts having 40 levels. Players spend many hours a day to reach this level and this bug in the game is deleting their account in an instant.
Pokemon Go accounts are disabling in middle of login issues
The specific message is appearing when an account with level 40 is trying to login.
When the owner tried to log in later, he was taken to level 1 where he could catch starter Pokemon.
Many Pokemon Go trainers have experienced this issue before, which was resolved by time. However, when this person catches one of the starter Pokemon, the data of level 40 got overwritten in the Pokemon Go database with the new one.
If this happens with you, immediately close the app or you can try to login again and again. If the issue isn’t resolved itself you can contact Niantic and wait for them to resolve this issue.
Niantic should be very well aware of this issue as of now but they haven’t responded about this officially. A lot of higher level accounts have spent a lot of real money, and if their account is uncoverable then this is a huge loss for them. It also hurts the sentiment of most Pokemon Go trainers as they put so much effort and time to reach such a high level. This leads them to make a decision not to play the game again.
It still remains to see whether this particular account can be recovered and whether Niantic will fix the issue and provide compensation for the accounts it can’t fix.
