Pokémon Sword & Shield new Gym Leaders

In the Player’s journey to becoming a world champion, defeating Gym Leaders has been the most essential phase in every Pokémon game, and same will apply in Pokémon Sword & Shield.

To challenge the champion in the game, you and your rivals need to defeat the Gym leaders. The gym battles involve intense clash with Dynamax Pokémon.

Before Pokémon Sword & Shield trailer on 8th July we only knew 2 leaders, but now we are familiar with total 4 gym leaders out of total 8 leaders from Galar region.

Previously introduced Milo and Nessa are specializes in using Grass-type and Water-type Pokémon, respectively. Apart from these two, Bea and Allister are the two gym leaders you will also face during the journey.

Bea is a Karate expert so, it is obvious that she specializes in Fighting-type  Pokémon. Her stoicism is her strength, which makes her precise in battle even when she is backed in the corner.

Allister mostly spends his time around ruins and cemeteries which describes him as a talented trainer of Ghost-type of Pokémon. He is already gaining popularity as he was featured in Twitter’s trending shortly after his reveal.

Leon- the undefeated champion of Pokémon Sword & Shield

To continue the journey to take on Gym Leaders, you will need endorsements from previous Gym Leaders and to kick-off the story you and your rival will receive an endorsement from none other than Leon. This is quite interesting as you or your rival will face off Leon at the Championship Cup.

Leon is hyped as one of the greatest trainers ever exist across all Pokémon games, “Leon won the Championship in his first-ever Gym Challenge—without being defeated in battle a single time,” the official Pokemon Sword and Shield website states. “He’s aided in his countless victories by his partner Charizard, and he’s known to go all out during battles, no matter who he’s facing.”

During your journey, you can catch a glimpse of Leon’s battle skills during broadcasts of his Championship and exhibition matches.
