PUBG Mobile Campus Championship Tournament Format & Rules
Tencent is all set to organize the first and the biggest official PUBG Mobile tournament in India, named PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2018, and for this, the company has partnered with the smartphone maker, Oppo. The first segment will be for Online Qualifiers, which starts from 26th of September, to find the best PUBG players who will face each other in Grand Finals. The prize pool for the tournament is pretty amazing, the PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2018 features a prize pool of Rs. 50 lacs. PUBG Mobile Campus Championship Tournament Rules –
General Rules –
Every single match in the PUBG Mobile Campus Championship Tournament will be a single elimination match, same as the classic mode in the PUBG Mobile. The server region for every match will be Asia. Also, the camera restriction for the tourney will be TPP – Third Person Perspective.
PUBG Mobile Campus Championship Tournament Format
Qualifiers Round –
The first segment for the new official tournament by Tencent will start from 26th of September where, the first round will be the Qualifiers Rounds, where 10,000 teams will fight for the Quarter Finals. And from 10,000 squads all over India, only 1,600 squads will enter the second round, that is, Quarter Final.
Quarter Finals –
1,600 squads will fight in Quarter Finals. The format for the quarter-final matches is Best Of 3, that, three matches will be played among the squads, and scores in every match will be added. And the top 4 highest scoring squads will be selected for the next round
Semi-Finals –
After Quarter Finals, around 250 squads will enter in the next round, that is, semi-final. The format for the semi final matches will be the same, that is, Best Of 3. The scores in three matches will be added to find out the final result, and here also, top 4 squads from every match will be selected to fight in the Finals.
Grand Final –
The Finals PUBG Mobile Campus Championship Tournament will be played offline in Bengaluru. The format for the final matches is different where 5 matches will be fought and the score will be added to find the best PUBG Mobile squad in India.
Rank & Score Scheme –
The scores will be given for every match to the position holder in a single match in a lobby. The points will be added in Best Of 3 and Best Of 5 matches in Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals. And the top scoring teams will be selected. You can check out the points given on acquiring positions in a single match in a lobby.
