Bollywood cutie Alia Bhatt’s movie Raazi’s trailer is being released and it looks like a stupendous piece of work and guarantees to give you Goosebumps. There have been so many people who have sacrificed a lot for their country but are mere a remembrance on our National Flag and unknown by the citizens. As a nation, while we boast of having people who fight and die for the nation, we also have some others whose contributions are not in any of our records, who are just stories of braveries. So this Meghna Gulzar’s film is based on the same topic.

As the trailer begins depicting India-Pakistan tensions. Alia Bhatt essays the role of an Indian Kashmiri spy who is married to a Pakistani man in the film. Alia will be playing the role of Sehmat working for the Indian intelligence sent to Pakistan disguised as a common girl to spy on her husband, played by Vicky Kaushal. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is a complicated tale of love, betrayal, and patriotism. Raazi will explore the social complexities during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. The trailer sees Sehmat being married to a Pakistani officer’s household to be the ‘eyes and ears of India.’ While Sehmat initially does her duty, later in the trailer one can see her in an emotional turmoil. The story is touted to be the one for the unnamed heroes who got no recognition but did their duty to serve the country in the best possible way. By the looks of it, Alia Bhatt completely steals the show with an intense and held performance. Both the actors had worked well on the dialect and accent of that time in order to prepare for their characters and that seems quite well in the trailer, hitting right at the bullseye. Alia Bhatt has come up with another jaw-dropping performance after her noteworthy films like Udta Punjab and Highway. She is seen portraying her three powerful faces of her character as a result of her cutting-edge endeavours.

The movie is all set to hit the theatres on May 11th, 2018.
