Reliance Big TV has started extended it’s DTH services to more location in India. Earlier in March 2018, the company announced its partnership with 50,000 post offices across the country.
As we know, currently the DTH services are very costly everywhere and with the introduction of Reliance Big TV DTH and their cheaper plans could disrupt the market of Indian DTH sector, as we have seen in the mobile communication department with the entry of Jio.

Through this DTH service, users can book for High Definition High-Efficiency Video Coding setup boxes.
The pre-booking of the DTH service will take place from June 20, across these states Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim
The users have to pay an amount of Rs 500 at the time of booking and Rs 1500 at the time of installation and both these amount will be reimbursed after the duration of three years. For the first year, users at avail the services of DTH at the cost of Rs 2000. But after the end of 1st year, the user has to pay an amount of Rs 300 each month to enjoy the DTH services

Reliance Big TV, Director Vijender Singh has said that “Now, every Indian household can have our HD HEVC set-top boxes at their disposal and can be booked from listed Indian post offices
He also added ” “With this tie-up, we will have a wider reach since Indian Post Office has an incredible reach. The same would help the users to book this incredible offer by paying Rs 500 at any of the post offices in the stipulated states”.
