The foldable smartphone was in talks from a quite long time, the tech giants like Samsung is strongly rumored to launch a foldable smartphone but the Samsung has lost the race to named the first foldable smartphone manufacturer. This is because a Chinese manufacturer most of you might not know, the Rouyu Technology has launched a new foldable smartphone dubbed FlexPai.
Rouyu FlexiPai Specifications :
The smartphone is not only the first phone with a foldable display but it is also the first smartphone to be housed by the Snapdragon 8150 ( Snapdragon 855) that is not unveiled, yet.
FlexPai features a huge 7.8-inch display, but neither the resolution nor the display type is revealed. The smartphone comes in three storage variants- 6GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 8GB+512GB.
In the photography department, the FlexPai is equipped with a dual rear camera system with a 16 Megapixel camera (wide angle lens) and a 20 Megapixel camera that is a telephoto sensor. The camera is on the left side when the device is laid out flat.
The company is also touting the presence of the a proprietary fast-charging technology called Ro-Charge that it claimed to charge the device from 0 to 80% in 1 hour. Ro-Charge is said to be 40% faster and has an efficiency rating of 94% and also has 3-layers of protection. The company didn’t state any words about the capacity of the battery.
FlexiPai Price :
The 6GB RAM model of the FlexiPai is priced at ¥8999 (~$1290) and the 8GB + 256GB model costs ¥9998 (~$1434). The premium 8GB + 512GB version costs whooping ¥12999 (~$1864). It will be available via a flash sale tomorrow at 10:01 AM local time.
