During an interview, he said that more and more actors will be making their way onto the streaming screens because of the freedom that the medium provides. He said that streaming platforms like Amazon and Netflix work in a much creative space and have the budgets to bring the director’s thoughts on screen. Saif’s fondness for the medium was evident during an event for Sacred Games. Saif said that because of the non-existence of censorship, they will be able to tell true stories in a more exciting manner. He also said that he was happy they won’t have to go through 500 institutions to get permission for their series.
