The fashion of the Notch on top of the smartphones displays started with the Apple’s iPhone X and after then all other Android manufacturers started adopted the trend, one manufacturer which aversion to the notches on its smartphones is Samsung that managed to offer bezel-less type display with its infinity display style.
All this didn’t stop the Korean company to experiment. One of these possibilities can be seen in a company patent registered in South Korea. It shows a phone that would have the sides completely covered by the screen, using cutouts apparently similar to those seen on the iPhone X to house the buttons. It also appears to have small holes in the screen for a possible camera. The rundown below are the images of the patent filed by the company.
The patent looks unrealistic and there is no evidence that Samsung is working on such a thing and it obvious that not all patents turn into reality. So let’s not put much weight to this patent and take this information with a pinch of salt.
However, Talking about the Samsung’s foldable phone which is in talks for more than a year now and a few days it was revealed that the Samsung will unveil its foldable phone in the coming November.
