Recently the Google released the list of percentage share of Android OS on the devices and the latest Android 8 Oreo is installed only on 12 percent of all the devices, this is due to that smartphone manufacturer don’t provide timely updates to their Devices. Now the Koren Company, Samsung listed a few devices that won’t receive the Android Oreo update until December.

According to sources, at least eight phones are scheduled to get Android Oreo in December –

Samsung noted the update schedule change, which is one way to salvage the reputation in such a situation. Other phones that should receive Oreo are the Galaxy Tab S3, Galaxy Tab A (2017), and the Galaxy J7 Max, However, according to the earlier schedule, the update has to be rolled out between August and November.

However, the next version of the Android that’s Android P is already available for beta version and will be publicly available this summer.

To Check if your smartphone has received the Android Oreo update. you should head to Settings, then scroll down to Software Update. You can tap on Download updates manually or turn on Download updates automatically, so you don’t bother with checking all the time.
