Samsung Galaxy S9 mini Might Launch Soon with Snapdragon 660

Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini !!

Samsung had released the Galaxy S5 mini in 2014 as a smaller version of the flagship Galaxy S5 at that time. However, the South Korean company never released Galaxy S6 mini, Galaxy S7 mini or Galaxy S8 Mini. But the trend might change from Galaxy S9 as, on Friday, a renowned tipster from China had claimed that Samsung is testing the Galaxy S9 mini phone in China. The model number of S9 mini as claimed by the leaker is SM-G8750. Also, the same model number was spotted on Geekbench, So it seems that the S9 Mini may actually exist.

According to the Geekbench listing, the SM-G8750 will come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The Galaxy S9 mini could be the first smartphone by Samsung to feature the Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM. In single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the Galaxy S9 mini has scored 1619 and 5955 points respectively.

No other S9 Mini Specifications were listed. However, it will be interesting to see that it will come with Infinity Display design like the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The display size of Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini might be between 5-inch to 5.5-inch and it may carry support the aspect ratio 18.5:9 like the Galaxy and will most probably feature dual camera setup like the Galaxy S9 and S9+.

Currently, there is no information available on the Galaxy S9 Mini Launch Date. Since the South Korean company is testing the S9 mini in China, it may arrive with a cheaper price tag to take on the leading smartphones in the mid-range bracket.
