Samsung India to Hire 1000 Engineers .

Tech Giant Samsung a south Korean company in order to promote R&D(Research and development) in India ,reveals that it will hire 1000 engineering graduates from top Indian institutes which includes IITs, NITs, Delhi College of Engineering, BITS Pilani, Manipal Institute of Technology and IIITs, etc

Samsung’s global senior vice-president and MD Samsung R&D Institute, Dipesh Shah Bengaluru, India, said:

“Samsung is extremely bullish on R&D in India. The three R&D centres in India work on several cutting edge technologies…We will be hiring around 1,000 engineers from top engineering colleges this year across the three R&D centres in India, of which over 300 will be from IITs. A majority of them will be hired for domains such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, signal processing, computer vision, mobile security and biometrics among others. There is a large need for talent”.

The majority of hiring will be focused on the new age topics likes;

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Internet of Things (IoT),
  • Machine learning.
  • Biometrics.
  • ‎Natural language processing.
  • ‎Augmented reality.
  • ‎Networks including 5G.

Samsung will not only hire the core Computer Science engineers but will also hire other streams like  electrical, mathematics, mechanics, statistics, etc.

Last year also Samsung hired 800 engineers from the country for its Research and development and 300 out of the which was from IITs.
The Samsung has a total of 32 R&D centres in the world out of which three are in India at Bengaluru, Noida, and Delhi and here the development and research of products is done keeping in mind the Indian market as well as Global markets.
