Sony Xperia XZ3 launched with OLED Display and SD 845 SoC at IFA 2018
The Japanese company Sony has launched the much-awaited smartphone the Sony Xperia XZ3 which the company’flagship of 2018 but looks like the refreshed version of the XZ2 launched at the starting of this year.

The smartphone comes with a 6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels with a modern 18:9 aspect ratio and doesn’t house the Notch on the top of the display like 90 per cent of the device launched this year.
The display is the only thing which seems to be an upgrade from the XZ2 as the smartphone is powered by the same, though latest, the Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage.
In terms of Photography, the smartphone stacks a single 19 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture on the rear side that has capabilities to record 4K HDR videos and slow-motion videos at insane 960fps. On the front, the smartphone features a 13 Megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture and is being touted to have a couple of 3D face scanning features.
The smartphone will leave the factory with the latest Android 9 Pie and in terms of connectivity, it houses NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band wifi and comes with all major sensors, that we expect from a flagship smartphone including a fingerprint sensor which sits on the rear panel beneath the camera. Under the hood, the device is fueled by a 3,330 mAh battery.
Some of the features of the phone that are being touted are its Side Sensing technology which can perform certain actions and AI-powered camera along with certain launch gestures. The handset measures 158 x 73 x 9.9mm and weighs 193g and is also rated IP65/68.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 will be available by the end of next month and is priced at £699 / $900. The smartphone will be available in four different colours namely, Black, White Silver, Forest Green, and Bordeaux Red colour options.
