Sony is expected to unveil a new Xperia flagship early next year and as per insider reports, it will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 SoC. The same has now been confirmed by the Geekbench listing of Sony’s upcoming smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm’s beastly processor and 4GB of RAM.
The new Sony smartphone (Model No. H8266) was spotted on the benchmarking site running Android 8.0 Oreo. The device scored an impressive 2393 points in single-core test and posted 8300 points on the multi-core scale, which screams flagship-worthy performance.
Sony’s upcoming smartphone will reportedly feature a new design as well as a dual rear camera set-up and is expected to make its debut at MWC in February next year.
