1. Castle Rock (2018)
If you have heard about Stephen King, then you must know that a lot of his stories happen in Maine. So it makes complete sense that the new Castle Rock is going to happen there only. The show is going to be like the adult form of Goosebumps with some King’s stupefying creations.
The show already has an excellent index of actors like Andre Holland, Scott Glenn, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgard, Terry O’ Quinn, Melanie Lynskey and Jane Levy as the main cast. The teaser trailer which is already out referred to some great works of Stephen King, like The Shawshank Redemption, IT, and Salem’s Loot, so it is believed that Castle Rock is going to do justice with them.

A PLL spin-off is already attempted in the past, but due to low ratings and lack of audience with their decent reviews, the ABC Family cancelled the series. A new series is going to drop on Amazon starring John Krasinski as Jack Ryan with the same name, i.e., Jack Ryan. Show director Daniel Sackheim said that he wanted to get back to Ford’s “everyman” appeal- someone who is relatable and vulnerable but still a hero. They have nailed it as they got Jim Halpert from The Office as their lead.
Jack Ryan debuts on August 31st on Amazon. (Upcoming TV Shows 2018-2019)

It goes on to describe the teens as having an “extraordinary gift” that “unleashes powerful forces intent on dividing them forever.” While this isn’t much to go on, the series looks super stylish and could be a dark horse in Netflix’s 2018 lineup. He moves to Los Angeles, becoming the oldest rookie in the LAPD in the process. We already know Nathan Fillion’s supremely watchable and The Rookie seems like it’s a good fit for him. 16. Thundercats Roar (2019)
ThunderCats Roar is the second reboot by the ThunderCats property of the original series of the ‘80s. The first reboot of 2011 wasn’ that good due to its low ratings and was further cancelled after the first season. The ThunderCats Roar is going to be way different regarding the drastic art and the material and the tonal change.
Vocal fans of the two previous series criticised this change in direction with many bringing up the more youth-orientated Teen Titans Go! as a point of negative comparison. Other fans remain positive and are taking the “wait and see” approach, which is usually the best course of action for these matters.
ThunderCats Roar will debut on Cartoon Network at some unspecified point next year. (Upcoming TV Shows 2018-2019)
17. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018)
Joel and Ethan Coen are bringing their Hollywood heft to Netflix. The sibling team behind Fargo, The Big Lebowski, No Country for Old Men, and perhaps most pertinently the 2010 remake of True Grit, are developing The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, a western anthology series set for later this year.
The series stars Tim Blake Nelson, James Franco, Zoe Kazan, Liam Neeson and Brendan Gleeson. The show is going to be one of the most talked about show of the year for sure as it has already quality written all over it. Even though the Coens and Netflix are tight-lipped to give out anything about the show but seeing the brother’s track record, it is no harm to assume that we are in safe hands.
There’s no official release date yet, so we’ll just have to wait until it is announced. (Upcoming TV Shows 2018-2019)
18. The Rocketeer (2019)
If you loved the movie The Rocketeer by Disney and want it back, then worry not it’s coming back but differently. It is announced that The Rocketeer is returning as an animated show on Disney Junior. Though it is going to disappoint many, it can only be a good thing if we look from where we stand.

Nickelodeon’s fondly remembered game show Double Dare is coming back for 2018.
